What Tiki Means to Us
The Hawaiian Islands are full of myths and legends, those are stories about heroism and danger, passion and forbidden love, betrayals, forgiveness, births, and deaths. When Americans discovered the pleasures of travel and tourism, the joyful, exotic Hawaiian souvenirs and delicious flavorful drinks helped them escape the banality of existence; and when they faced the miseries of war, the image of the faraway beautiful islands was giving them hope for the better future.
While in Hawaii Tiki statues represented a certain god and stored the mana (power) of this god, in America Tiki grew into a unique and beautiful culture and became the reflection of the true American history. We believe that Tiki still holds the mana of our beloved country.
Culture can become a criterion of normality, it can become a refuge from the pain of war, or it can become a means of expressing the spirit of an entire nation.

Chef Randy
Cooking is in Randy’s blood. His grandfather, also a chef, taught him how to cook at a very young age, and he has been doing it ever since. After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu Randy has been dreaming of combining his passions for cooking, Tiki, and American history. Today our customers are the lucky recipients of delicious results. Here is one of his most recent additions to the menu, The Fried Tofu.
